wow how do you like the v-10 over the demo 8? My best friend rides a 08 v-10 also and I ride a 08 demo 8 2. I got it because I do half fR half DH. The v-10 isn't a fr bike though huh?

ya, its not that we dont have gnarly stuff, i live near highland bike park, and diablo, that kind of stuff. so i think i might be sticking with 8 inches. we carry spec, kona, and santa cruz. so i have to choose between them

ya, id lie to know what its about. i want a 8 inch bike, 10 would be overkill on the east i think, most people here race with 7-8 inch bikes. my friend is on a demo 7 and rapes

hey man, so im in a position here, i curently have a 2006 kona sttab supreme, 40, the works... recently got a job at my lbs, and we carry kona specalized, and santa cruz, i know you have owned demos, and now a v10, i think the demo might be cheeper, (the 8 2) what would you do, and i want a 40, and a good build, so is the v10 worth the extra cash, or should i buy a frame, and swap parts

ahah, didnt say the fork sorry, it was a 888 rc3. i think its an acceptable wieght. they also said it would be shaved down a bit (you could clearly see unnecssary bits on it). so...

sooo wrong, it was like the about 45lbs with quite heavy build. like xt, deemax's, 40's, dhx coil (non ti) it wasnt a special build really, about average. but it could be brought down easy though. they wouldnt tell me the exact frame weight, they just said it was about the weight of competitive world cup bikes
